Privacy

Pataka is run by Attomate AI. You can play without an account, and we collect as little as we can. This page explains what we keep, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

• A random player id made by your browser the first time you visit. It isn't linked to your phone number, email or real name.
• The name you choose for leaderboards and for games you publish. Use a nickname if you like.
• Scores, likes and reports, and which group link you played from, so leaderboards and group boards work.
• How the app is used: games viewed and played, rounds finished, shares, ad views and sponsor clicks, where a visit came from (for example a WhatsApp link), and screen size. We use this to improve the app and to report totals to sponsors. We don't record what you type in WhatsApp or who you send links to.
• Games you make: the idea you type, the game and its title. Published games are public.
• Basic technical data such as your IP address, used briefly to prevent abuse (for example rate limits) and kept only as a scrambled value or for a short time in server logs.
• If you join the creator program (optional, for makers who want to earn): the email of the Google account you sign in with, and, only when you withdraw earnings, your full name, PAN and UPI ID. We use these only to pay you, to deduct and report tax where the law requires, and to prevent fraud.

What's stored on your device

Your player id, name, best scores, streak, likes, groups and settings (like sound) are saved in your browser's local storage so the app remembers you. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Who we share it with

• Service providers that run Pataka for us: Vercel (hosting) and Supabase (database). Our servers and database run in Mumbai; pages and images may be served from nearby edge locations.
• Anthropic, which provides Claude, the AI that turns your idea into a game. Your typed idea is sent to it to make the game.
• Google, if and when ads are shown. Google may use cookies or device identifiers to show and measure ads; see Google's privacy policy. Premium players don't see these ads.
• Razorpay, if you buy Premium. You pay on Razorpay's secure checkout; your UPI, card or bank details go to Razorpay, not to us. We only keep the order and payment IDs, the amount, and which player id the pass belongs to.
• Sponsors only get totals (views, clicks, plays), never information about you.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

We don't sell your data.

How long we keep it

Scores and published games stay while the service runs or until you ask us to remove them. Usage events are kept for analysis and may be rolled up into totals over time. Creator payment records (name, PAN, UPI ID, amounts) are kept for as long as tax law requires.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the data linked to your player id, or withdraw consent, under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Write to our contact page with your player name and the games you played or made, and we'll respond within a reasonable time.

Children

Pataka is a general audience game app. If you're under 18, please use it with a parent or guardian's permission. If you believe a child has shared personal information with us, contact us and we'll remove it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
